One of my favorite ready to wear fashion brands would have to be KTZ, & their A/W 2012/13 collection has to be one of my favorite collections from head designer Marjan Pejoski. Which is why I’ve decided to revisit the collection and dedicate the second installment of the Lost Soundtracks for a Runway Show mix series to this epic moment of the KTZ archives.. Lost Soundtracks for a Runway Show. Junya Watanabe S/S 2015.

At times when I listen to music I can envision runway shows.. maybe its the fact that music & fashion, in its artistic sense, has been my first loves since a child.. who knows. So I thought of the idea of compiling some of those tracks into 15 minute mixes/soundtracks and creating a series of these soundtracks that can be paired with past runway shows or simply used to create your own presentations in your mind.

But, fortunately I do love a color combination/striking print moment and thats definitely what Opening Ceremony gave recently for their A/W 15 collection. Continue reading

Margiela Artisinal Spring 2015 Couture: Hello Mr. Galliano~

As a young kid and into my teens and even into adulthood there have been two modern day designers I’ve always loved. Two who always brought art, drama, and showmanship along with craftsmenship to the fashion world. Those two would have to be Alexander McQueen and John Galliano!
McQueen unfortunately left this world much too soon&is no longer with us(RIP)… but Galliano is finally BACK!
And hes now apart of one of my favorite fashion houses, Maison Martin Margiela, and has taken reign as its Creative Director and recently premiered his first collection for the house for their couture ‘Artisinal’ collection and Mr. Galliano did NOT disappoint(at least not entirely)! Continue reading
